Hanro adds a new style of loungewear to its timelessly styled collection made from a mercerized cotton fabric. Currently available, the Hanro Night and Day Short Pant ($90) offers a versatile option to wear for various occasions such as lounging at home, sleeping, running errands or, even, light exercise.
The stylish design of the Night and day Short Pant was inspired by the success of Hanro’s Midtown pant, which was introduced last fall. This full-length pant was available in thyme with a navy blue waistband and sunset with a light grey mélange waistband.
“Consumers responded quite enthusiastically to the bi-color design,” said Jonathan Murphy, a sales representative for Hanro. “Based on that success, the Night and Day Pant was designed for Spring 2013 in midnight navy blue with a grey mélange waistband.”
The Hanro Night and Day Short Pant is made from a lightweight 100% mercerized cotton. Mercerization is a treatment for cotton fabric that gives a lustrous appearance. “This cotton is incredibly soft,” said Murphy. “Additionally, Hanro’s state-of-the-art mercerization process controls the density of the fabric in ways not accomplished previously. A denser fabric means an incredibly softer fabric and the comfort is sublime.”
Showcasing a contemporary look, the Night and Day Short Pant features a drawstring on the covered elastic waistband, functional single-button fly and side-slash pockets. “The elastic waistband and drawstring definitely contribute to this pant being able to fit all body types,” said Murphy. The Hanro Night and Day Short Pant is available in S-XXXL.
