It’s been announced! The first ever Calvin Klein Super Bowl ad will air towards the end of the first quarter of Sunday’s game. The ad will show off Calvin Klein Concept, a newly introduced collection of underwear featuring the brand’s 360º seamless construction, is accompanied by a set of campaign stills. The campaign is fronted by Matthew Terry, who has modeled for Calvin Klein since spring, 2012.
On being the face of Calvin Klein Underwear’s 2012 campaign, Terry told The Underwear Expert last year, “I can’t believe that I’m among such an extremely prestigious group of men that have done this campaign before! Mark Wahlberg and Kellan Lutz to name a few.”
Photographer Steven Klein is back, having also photographed the Calvin Klein Bold campaign. The images will appear in a variety of publications for Calvin Kelin’s worldwide campaign including GQ, Esquire and Men’s Health.

“We are a brand with a rich advertising legacy and we firmly believe in powerful, multi-platform lifestyle advertising to support and grow the brand’s image around the world,” said Tom Murry, President & CEO, Calvin Klein, Inc. “This is a significant milestone, and, as an iconic American designer brand, we are extremely proud to be able to debut the latest Calvin Klein Underwear campaign during the Super Bowl – the most watched television event annually in the United States.”
Calvin Klein has queued up next in the line of underwear brands taking on the biggest television event of the year. Last year’s Super Bowl advertisements included a controversial TV spot for David Beckham Bodywear for H&M.
