Calvin Klein Underwear has challenged the public perception of men’s underwear with a deluge of iconic advertisements featuring Calvin Klein men’s underwear models like Mark Wahlberg, Kate Moss, and Kellan Lutz. Mark Wahlberg’s famous ads, which also feature a young Kate Moss, show the then-rapper dropping trou, exposing his Calvin Klein boxer briefs. These images, and other Calvin Klein Underwear images like it, have both altered the men’s underwear landscape by shining a focused, A-list spotlight on the men’s underwear industry, and secured the brand’s place as the most popular brand in the world. Calvin Klein Underwear is even one of the preliminary sponsors of Jay-Z’s revamped Barclay’s Center in Brooklyn, New York.
Calvin Klein men’s underwear offerings are plenty; the iconic brand boasts boxers, boxer briefs, briefs and trunks in a variety of styles, colors, and designs.
Bob Mazzoli, Calvin Klein Underwear’s chief creative officer, said in 2012: “We are continually inspired through our ongoing relationship and dialogue with our global consumers, and fully intend to create a future that is just as compelling as our past.”
The brand has opened thousands of boutiques in major cities around the world including Buenos Aires, Cardiff, London, and Mexico City. In 2012, Warnaco, the parent company to Calvin Klein Underwear was acquired by PVH Corp.
