Following the successful “sockscription” service offered by Blacksocks, the brand expanded into the next logical area–underwear. Blacksocks offers men security of mind by delivering underwear throughout the year after an initial yearlong subscription. Men can then select their desired style, color, quantity and frequency of delivery for that year and not have to worry about their underwear supply.

Originally Blacksocks solely sold just that, socks. Co-founder Samy Liechti was a promising marketing graduate at an advertising agency. The brand originated after Samy experienced humiliation in front of Japanese clients when he removed his shoes and found mismatching socks with a large hole. Samy was so embarrassed that he began researching socks for ways that he could avoid sock mishaps. In 1994, Blacksocks was born so that Samy and consumers everywhere could have one less worry in their already hectic lives.

Featuring utmost comfort and durability, Blacksocks underwear uses reliable 100% woven cotton fabrics and 95% pima cotton and 5% spandex blends. Blacksocks offers boxer brief, boxer shorts and brief styles of underwear available in black, white and occasionally, grey.

The simplistic design of Blacksocks is one that places a special emphasis on the underwear’s high quality construction and feel. The brand’s underwear needs no flashy designs and features a minimal waistband contrary to the usual, large elastic waistband that can have a rough feel.
