Review: Perry Ellis Thermal Long John

Item Reviewed: Perry Ellis Thermal Long John

About the product: The Perry Ellis Thermal Long John is made of a 60% cotton and 40% polyester fabric blend and comes with a standard tagless elastic waistband you’ll find on most of the brand’s underwear. This mid-rise long john features a flat-fronted pouch with a fly and offers full coverage.

What we like: The most important thing about any pair of long johns is the level of the comfort it offers, and in that department this pair excels. The fabric blend is soft, the crotch area offers plenty of space (almost always a good thing for cold weather wear) and the legs are cut thin enough that you can pull socks over them and wear them out and about. We also really liked the look of this pair. Perry Ellis adds a touch of style to the classic long features of a simple cut, thermal material and pouch with a fly with a stylish, slim-fitting waistband.

What we don’t like: There’s only one thing we would change we would thing about this pair, and that’s the level of support. This pair, like most long johns, doesn’t have a lot of it.

When we’d wear them: On a long winter’s day or just about any day we’re not planning on leaving the house.

Who we’d recommend them to: Guys who want to stay warm and still look great.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Comfortable. Warm. Classic.
