Inspired by the native Masai warriors of Kenya, the Modus Vivendi Masai Line has a powerful aesthetic in an abundance of underwear styles. It includes a brief ($29.68), sumo brief ($39.97), and boxer ($34.09). And similar to the Buddha Line, the Masai Line also includes a langot ($38.10), lounge pants ($86.76), and a robe ($149.72).
The Masai Line is captured by photographer Lionel André. The fifth stop in Modus Vivendi’s tour around the world, the photo shoot took place in the south of France near the Mediterranean coast. The briefs, made from 95% cotton modal and 5% elastane, are cut with unique designs that show more skin and look more athletic. The sumo brief is more masculine with its fighter-esque belt, yet both styles are revealing. The model wears both, and showcases their body-hugging fit.
The robe is made from 65% cotton and 35% polyester. An embroidered bust of a Masai warrior adorns the back and makes it the line’s most unique look. Still, Modus Vivendi is the only brand to jump on the langot boat.
The Modus Vivendi Masai Line is available in sizes S-XL.
