Eden Park Is Inspired By Rugby, With Hints of British Elegance

Eden Park

What do rugby players do once the season is over? Well, fashion brand, Eden Park is the answer to that question.

The brand, which has been around for 20 years, was first created by French international Rugby players. They banded together to create upmarket ready-to-wear clothing, complete with underwear to reflect the integrity of the “gentleman’s game.” The brand is actually named after the very first Rugby World Cup finals, which were held at the Eden Park Stadium in Auckland, New Zealand.

For the FW 2013/14 collection, Eden Park stays true to its roots by creating a line of underwear that is heavily inspired by rugby elements. It incorporates unique oval buttons and classic Rugby colors in a stripe fashion. In the photos below you will see these rugby elements seep through the entire new collection. Stripes of navy blue and pink are woven in while one pair of trunks has the “club colors” in a color blocking motif. This collection proves to be very sporty, but touched with sophisticated class and elegance. Tell us what your favorite Rugby team is by commenting below.
