A source close to the White House told The Sun on Friday: “David promised to send a box of his undies to the President — and Michelle has insisted her husband wears them!” And just like that, the answer to one of the most closely held presidential secrets was revealed.
In a meeting earlier this year between Beckham and Obama, Beckham found out that the First Family of the United States were fans of Beckham’s H&M underwear range. In response, the athlete sent a box of 50 pairs of underwear to Obama.
Obama must have been thrilled; we hear David Beckham’s Bodyware for H&M is pretty awesome. His daughters were most definitely thrilled, too. The source that spoke with The Sun said: “Michelle and the kids think he’s a real hunk.”
