The Look: Since this brief is the staple C-in2 brief cut, its looks have got to be the main selling point — and they are. The “one-by-one wash effect” delivers a complex dirt pattern, unlike anything else on the market. It’s made to make you feel like you’re a greasy mechanic and it definitely delivers. We felt like a filthy, sexy repairman in these briefs! Many pairs of underwear aim to make you look good by conforming to a certain ideal of cleanliness, but C-in2 has the guts to go in a different direction and it pays off.

The Fit: This is C-in2’s basic low no show brief. We already know that it’s super comfortable — and, it’s a very good seller –, but this fabric is not what you’d expect. When you wear a sexy pair of low-rise briefs you are expecting a smoother, lighter fabric. The heavier weave on the Filthy brief means that this is a real different type of fabric to use on a brief. Not bad, jut different.

The Construction: Again, the main difference between this and the other versions of the same brief is the fabric. It’s a waffle-type weave, like on long johns, so it’s heavier than many other briefs in its category. It’s a surprising feel.  This may not be a summer underwear, simply because the fabric is so thick. However, the seams are strong and small, the waistband is springy enough, and there is enough lift in the rear and front not to worry about the fabric starting to sag.

The Underwear Expert Opinion: Filthy probably should have come out in fall, but it’s still going to fly off the shelves this spring and summer. As an addition to their already well-received basic low no-show brief, it really expands that silhouette’s reach to guys who aren’t afraid of getting dirty. If you’re going for this type of look, or you want to dirty up your drawers while still staying clean, Filthy’s the pair for you.
