Review: Dirt Squirrel Black Brief

Item Reviewed: Dirt Squirrel Black Brief

About the product: The Dirt Squirrel Black Brief is a medium-rise brief made from 95% bamboo fiber and 5% spandex. The ¼-inch elastic piping surrounding the contoured pouch serves to support and enhance the package, while the ¼-inch elastic along the leg openings helps to ensure everything stays in place. The thick black waistband features the company’s name and acorn logo on the front in a funky white font with a white stripe along the top.

What we like: Comfort is a key feature of the Dirt Squirrel Black Brief. The high percentage of bamboo fiber results in a fabric that is super comfortable and feels like it’s barely there, and the elastic and spandex give it just a hint of stretch, making the briefs hug the body tight (but not too tight). These briefs are a great mix of comfort, style and fit, meaning that they can be worn all day.

What we don’t like: These are a solid pair of underwear, so there’s nothing to fix. Someone looking for a more colorful or visually stimulating pair of underwear will be a bit let down with the classic black design, but that’s about it.

When we’d wear them: The Dirt Squirrel Black Brief is a great everyday pair of underwear. They’re incredibly versatile, so it’s quick and easy to go from lounging on the couch to drinks at the bar with friends.

Who we’d recommend them to: Anyone looking for a new staple to their underwear collection.

Describe these underwear in 3 words: Relaxed. Comfortable. Versatile.
