The Underwear Expert made it’s most recent venture to Las Vegas last week to get the latest on all the new collections the 50+ brands exhibiting had to offer. In that week, we made stops along the Vegas Strip visiting multiple shows including CurveNV, Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs, Pool Trade Show, Magic Men’s, and Project Las Vegas and we’ve gathered some of our favorite moments, as well as collections to share with you.
If there is one thing we can promise to you right now, it’s that 2015 will most certainly not be a boring year– that is, in the world of men’s underwear, and we know you’ll agree after seeing these various bold, innovative looks.
Our first stop at CurveNV gave way to new designs by brands such as Wood, Blackspade and Etiquette Clothier. Among all the new underwear, we visited the people who make the underwear happen, including Terresa Zimmerman, founder of Wood Underwear and Vincent De Paul, a brand ambassador for Blackspade.
At the Liberty Fashion & Lifestyle Fairs, we stopped by Naked’s booth to meet up with Carlos Serra, the brand’s Vice President of Sales and Marketing. Naked, which has grown to create more than just underwear, showed off not just their new styles, but their new and improved logo. The multitude of brands truly left us with a lasting impression– and that was all only day one.

At Magic Market Week, we saw a majority of the underwear brands including Papi, Jack Adams, Freedom Reigns and Mosmann. Hosted at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center, we saw more complex fabrications, sophisticated patterns, as well as a return to classics with a hint modernity all trending throughout many of the brands’ latest collections.
Being The Underwear Expert means several things, and one of those is– we had unrivaled entry to everything going on, from Gregg Homme’s sultry, seductive SS14 campaign photos and video, to new swimwear by a new brand Radical Element. We even got to see what 2(X)IST had to offer not only for Spring/Summer, but for Fall/Winter of 2015, by the designer himself Jason Scarlatti. Judging by the model in the photo below featuring none other than Jason and our CEO Michael Kleinmann, it’s going to be one hell of a great year.
