Underwear models can do more than just look pretty. They can make a difference, too!

A handful of models, including Andrew Christian faves Colby Melvin and Quinn Jaxon, have teamed up with Full Frontal Freedom, an “Independent pro-equality movement not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any state campaign.” The collaboration produced a winning political parody of One Direction’s “What Makes You Beautiful.” Starring a sexually mixed (half-straight, half-gay) and underwear clad cast of characters that includes Colby Melvin (who’s also the face and spokesmodel for the coalition), Quinn Jaxon, Brandon Brown, Johnathan Myers and David Brackett, the video asks Romney to show what’s down below:

If only we saw what Ann could see
We’d understand avoiding Maddow so desperately
You change positions for elections, what should I believe
You won’t show
What you’re hiding down below oh oh ”

Colby Melvin told The Underwear Expert, “The whole purpose of Full Frontal Freedom is about using different forms of media and artists so we can promote political engagement and just get people to give a sh*t.” And how exactly do you do that? Get ultra viral underwear models to get involved. “We get tons and tons and tons of views on our pictures and videos, so many comments and likes,” Colby continued. “We can actually use that for good to get people involved in the issues.”

“I launched Full Frontal Freedom in the spring of 2012 as a campaign to raise awareness and engage the community and our allies in political discussions,” Conor Gaughan, Full Frontal Freedom’s founder told The Underwear Expert. “Having lived in LA following the passage of Proposition 8 in 2008, I recall how cool it was to be politically aware. Everyone was marching and protesting, albeit after the election.Full Frontal Freedom hopes to revive that spirit of activism using media and entertainment; this time we want to harness our collective power and voice and creativity in order to make a difference.”

Now is the perfect time to engage an under-enthused electorate: “In the next 77 days, we will be releasing an exciting slate of media, all focused on raising awareness and support for the equality movement and the four states where marriage equality issues are on the ballot (Maine, Minnesota, Maryland and Washington),” Gaughan continued.
