Marcuse, known for its swimwear and its commitment to unique personality and taste, has tapped Tim Tweedy for the Marcuse Summer 2016 Collection, and Pavel Lepikhin captures in Tweedy all that Marcuse promises as a brand. This shoot shows the versatility of Marcuse swimwear, while capturing Tweedy in a series of bold poses that are meant to convey the brand’s refined yet rugged (when necessary) appeal. An expansive collection of swimwear, Marcuse’s Summer 2016 Collection allows Tweedy to set off his summer bronze with the Vamper, a V-shape print that, in its simplicity, embraces the feel of dynamic symmetry. Tweedy’s pose reveals how the drawstring and lining of these swim briefs secure the wearer’s comfort with an elegant design, Italian fabric, and the Marcuse gold embroidered logo.
Lepikhin also finds Tweedy in the Sunset briefs, up against an equally naturalistic wall, and the combination allows us to transport ourselves into an oceanic paradise via premium fabric, and a tropical orange sunset print embroidered with palm trees that stand out to feel and touch. Lepikhin also finds Tweedy displaying how, complete with gold studs, these briefs are designed to take you the water’s edge and back again.
This shoot also shows Tweedy sporting Marcuse’s Sailor swim briefs, which use broad, asymmetric stripes in the front and back to complete a simple and high-powered look that is customized with the crested badge on the front wile fitted comfortably to the waist. Bend, flex, jump, and dive: these swim briefs are ready for whatever you can throw at the water.
Finally Tweedy shows us how irresistible the Marcuse Amigo is, swimwear that is fashion forward, aesthetic and functional. These briefs, which Lepikhin finds Tweedy posing and lounging in, feature a stylish print, the 3D gold badge, and quick-drying Italian fabric.
