Parke Lutter and Ronen Jehezkel return to New York Fashion Week in 2016 with the Parke & Ronen Varsity Show, featuring a characteristically sharp collection that showcases the brand’s unique interpretation of the Ivy elite look–a vision that challenges assumptions about the lifestyle and fashion with which that look is commonly associated.
On Thursday July 14, you’ll be able to catch the Parke & Ronen runway show, where this collection will stand against a tradition of exclusionary practices within elite social strata and celebrate the Parke & Ronen aesthetic, a simple and refined look that values clean and striking dress over sensationalism and ornament. At the same time, the Varsity Collection is playful, embracing progressive values by utilizing prints graphics, and motifs that put a twist on dominant notions of team spirit.
The Varsity Collection will continue to support the image of the self-made, individual man and the styles that give him confidence to be who he is in all circumstances, but you can also expect this show to present a couple of surprises. The fist of these is Parke & Ronen’s second collaboration with Korean handbag brand, Lodinatt. The second is an additional venture with a New York-based designer, which won’t be revealed until New York Fashion Week is in full swing.
You’ll find the brand returning to Skylight Clarkson Square, where you’ll be able to see why they’re so excited about a collection that communicates the brand’s unique message about collegiate prep and you’ll be able to get a glimpse of their new collaborations.
