Men’s New York Fashion Week isn’t until July, but a Wood fashion benefit show at the end of March quenched our immediate thirst for runway style. For the fifth year in a row, the Aspen Cares Theatrical Fashion Show hit the stage in Aspen, Colorado to raise awareness and funds for mental and sexual health. Naturally, Wood Underwear took part in the fashion show to show their support and their awesome underwear. Models and dancers sported the Wood looks, which made for a spectacular event. A Wood fashion show is our favorite kind and one that benefits a great cause makes the occasion even better.
At the event, Wood models walked the runway in full theatrical style backed up by dancers and music. They showed off their Wood looking like rockstars in the array of colored lights while facing a happy and lively crowd. Attendees had the opportunity to participate in a silent auction at the event where they could purchase some of the items showcased in the fashion show. We love the runway-to-consumer attitude, and all of the styles shown by Wood at the event are available from the brand.
The annual event gives to the Aspen Hope Center, benefiting those suffering from mental and sexual health issues surrounding HIV/AIDS. A combination of runway looks from local and high end designers, with models, dancers and actors made this event special to the Aspen community in which it was hosted. The theatrical fashion show took place on March 25 at the Belly Up Aspen. This all out extravaganza made for a fun night and we are already anticipating next year’s event.
