It’s that time of year again! Halloween is almost here, so break out your favorite scary movies and your sexy outfits! Happy Socks has collaborated with filmmaker Robert Rodriguez to deliver a scary little treat of their own. Happy Socks and Robert Rodriguez have released Sock ‘Em Dead! If you’re a fan of vampire thrillers, then this short film is sure to be up your alley!
Sock and underwear company Happy Socks has teamed up with Maverick filmmaker Robert Rodriguez. Robert brought his action-packed, fierce style and mixed it with Happy Socks’ high quality, creative styles. Sock ‘Em Dead was shot and edited entirely at Troublemaker Studios, Robert’s fully functioning production facility in Austin, Texas. This short film offers a fully authentic cinematic style and production value, along with an A-list cast and crew. What more could you ask for? Maybe a star studded launch party? On October 17th the launch party took place at No Vacancy in Hollywood. VIP’s included CEO/co-founder of Happy Socks Micke Soderlindh and Creative Director/co-founder Viktor Tell, director Robert Rodriguez, Sock ‘Em Dead actress Madison Davenport, Icona Pop’s Aino Jawo + Caroline Hjelt, actress Emily Osment, actress Briana Evigan, and actor Jeff Fahey. Guests in attendance enjoyed tacos, relaxed to the beats of DJ Fredwreck, and struck a pose in front of the green screen photo-op featuring the movie poster, while they waited for the first screening. Sock ‘Em Dead was introduced by Rodriguez and Happy Socks co-founders, Mikael Soderlindh and Viktor Tell.
Happy Socks released three pairs of Sock ‘Em Dead inspired styles that were designed by Robert Rodriguez himself. These styles all feature prints that relate to vampires: teeth and blood! Each style will be perfect for your next halloween party or for casual use if you’re a vampire lover!
