Item Reviewed: Betones Festival4 – Blue
About the product: The Betones Festival4 – Blue is a mid-rise boxer brief made from 50% polyester, 40% nylon and 10% polyurethane. This combination creates a lightweight, quick-drying and breathable fabric that is both moisture wicking and highly elastic. The blue, black and white diamond pattern has a geometric optical illusion, and the seamless pouch is characteristic of the minimal stitching and seams in the Betones brand. The two-inch black waistband features both the brand’s name across the front in blue and a thin blue stripe. Similar to other Betones underwear, these boxer briefs come in only one size, but thanks to their high elasticity, they’re able to fit different body sizes.
What we like: These boxer briefs have all the comfort and style that we’ve come to expect from the Betones brand. The lesser amount of stitching ensures a smoother feel throughout the underwear and the geometric design definitely draws attention downstairs.
What we don’t like: While the fabric is elastic and meant to stretch, the more it stretches, the more the pattern becomes more see-through and faded, which isn’t ideal for bigger guys. Also, the legs can ride up a bit, so some readjustment is required.
When we’d wear them: On a date to see Cirque du Soleil and then out to the club for some drinks.
Who we’d recommend them to: An illusionist in the making.
Describe these underwear in 3 words: Geometric. Elastic. Trippy.
