Australian brand Stonemen’s latest digital print is plenty powerful and strikingly old-school. Designed with a black underwear body (95% Cotton, 5% Elastane) and a wrap-around lion graphic, the new Stonemen Lion Series is all about honoring the King of Beasts. The lion artwork depicts two lions staring each other down and ferociously showing their teeth. Even cooler are their manes, artistic in all their wild regal glory. It’s one of the Stonemen’s most virile designs yet, and one that packs a king-sized bite.
The Stonemen Lion Series is cut intro a brief, trunk, and boxer ($32.47). Each is designed with a black trim around the legs and a contrasting grey waistband with an average width. The brand name is stitched small and subtle on the left hip, keeping the focus on the lion art. Each underwear cut from the Stonemen Lion Series is also designed with the Stonemen Lion print on the rear. The print is high-definition and rocks a rustic gold color that adds to the commanding regal style. The lions bring the right amount of attitude, and make handsome contrasts to the black base color.
The Stonemen Lion Brief has a narrow hip brief design that cuts off the lion print around the front, but not enough to detract from the image. Turn it around and two more lions are roaring with full force on the briefs back. The Stonemen Lion Trunk and Lion Boxer are more full coverage and thus provide the lions with more territory. The Lion Trunk has a modern square-cut that goes as low as the pouch. And for men who prefer a more honest amount of full-coverage, the Stonemen Lion Boxer has a reserved boxer brief cut just long enough to give a full and complete look at the manly digital print.
Marc Debnam photographed model Jack Tyerman wearing the new Stonemen Lion underwear as part of the brand’s latest campaign. He also captured Jack wearing two pairs from Stonemen’s Ocean line. We took the liberty of putting them all below. Enjoy, and remember: if you want to be a king, you have to dress the part.
Stonemen Lion underwear is available in sizes S-XL.
