Sia, Daft Punk, Banksy, even Tim Allen’s neighbor from “Home Improvement” all have one thing in common with designer Marco Marco: they’re careful never to reveal their face. Their reasons for doing this vary. Whether they want to keep fame out of their personal life or keep attention on their work, it adds a certain allure to everything they do. Word on the street (and social media) is that Marco Marco is cute. Since we can’t say for sure, we decided to play a game of Marco Marco Polo instead.
The Underwear Expert had some fun sifting through Marco Marco’s Instagram, finding the coolest and most clever shots of the designer hiding his identity. Sometimes it’s his tatted hands, sometimes it’s someone else’s hands. Other times it’s a Marco Marco Emoji Snapback. The designer lowers them and substitutes the emoji for his own face. Not only does this put them to good use, but it makes the snapbacks seem more appropriate than ever before. And it just so happens that some of those emoji faces match the moments they’re caught in perfectly. If we had our hands around a models waist, and just put some dollars inside his waistband, we’d probably have one eye winking and our tongue out too.
