Croota has a distinctly young attitude. Their designs are some of the most contemporary on the men’s underwear market today. Croota boxer briefs can be retro like the Rodeo Boxer Brief, or modern like the Jetliner Boxer Brief. But for our outfit this week, we wanted something right down the middle – and with seasonal colors. Their dark green Neo Night Boxer Brief ($24.99) is new age old-school, and the start of this week’s Complete The Look: Croota. See where we take the brand below.
Croota’s Night Runner Boxer Brief (1) has a bold color palette that’s great for the beginning of summer – and great for our Complete The Look: Croota. The forest green boxer brief has a flattering, modern cut that’s backed up by a somewhat sporty design. The waistband is where it’s at, though. The white elastic is accented with lime green, pink, and a light blue.
The Billabong ‘Mosaic Shifty’ Tank (2) doesn’t quite hit forest green, and we don’t want it to. The balance of mint and dark green is just as striking as our underwear’s waistband, but great for summer, and with a really interesting print.
The watermelon Original Paperbacks ‘Islander’ Shorts (3) give our outfit the same contrast as our underwear’s boldest accent. The bright, light color works great with the mint green shade, and follows up with a casual cut.
We choose grey shoes to balance out our bright colors for our Complete The Look: Croota, and to avoid being “springtime” bright. The 1901 ‘Venice’ Perforated Suede Slip-On in grey (4) has a sandy finish that makes our look prime for the beach. It’s warm like the rest of our look, and the perforations give it a little more style.
For a more refined edge, add the Ted Baker London Multifunction Leather Strap Watch (5). The watch has a grey leather strap, and a warm face with gold number markers and teal hands. You could also add the Skagen ‘Nicolai’ Perforated Leather Wallet in Smoke (6). Their grey is light, and has perforations almost identical to our shoes in our Complete The Look: Croota.
