Item Reviewed: teamm8 Cabana Swim Short – Pink
About the product: teamm8 is an Australian brand that created these modern Aboriginal print inspired swim shorts. Made of quick dry nylon, with a mesh liner and velcro fly, the teamm8 Cabana Swim Short is ready for swimming and sunning. The wide waistband contains two snaps in the front and elastic in the back for a clean fit. The legs are much shorter than a traditional board short and the short is fitted more tightly than a traditional board short. There are two large pockets (one on either side) contrasted by piping matching the waistband. The patterned print of the swim short is colorful along with a contrasting back pocket on the right rear of the short that also matches the waistband.
What we like: The material of the short felt light and comfortable, and it dried quickly after getting wet. The short is also not see through when wet, due to the pattern on the material. The tailored fit of the swim short, as well as the shorter legs, are very eye catching.
What we don’t like: As with many swim shorts, the fly can be a challenge when putting on the shorts.
When we’d wear them: These shorts are completely versatile. They would look great on the beach playing beach volleyball, at a pool party, or sunning on a deck in the afternoon. If you want some attention, but don’t want to wear a square cut, these might be the swim shorts you have been looking to buy.
Who we’d recommend them to: Anyone who wants to show off their hard work at the gym, particularly guys in their 30s and up, would look great in these shorts.
In three words: Tailored. Sporty. Eye-catching.
