Radical Element’s April editorial is photographed by Ziv Sade and features model Frank Mentier. Together they have enough chemistry to give the Radical Element Editorial photoshoot a positive charge. The pics look and feel like a never-ending day in summer. From rollerskating to beachside ice cream cones, Frank’s day is powered by Radical Element.
Frank soaks up the sun in several of the brand’s swim brief designs for the Radical Element Editorial. He’s got the scruff and muscle to pull off the brand’s hard-hitting aesthetic, and when wearing more than just swimwear, a sense of style to give them life. Frank also models a few tees in the Radical Element Editorial. He pairs his Radical Black swim brief with the Ammo Vance Tank, designed with a digital print of two large bullets. It’s the edgy, devil-may-care side of Radical Element, paired perfectly with aviator shades and a snapback turned backwards.
Now you’d think, since Frank looks so good playing up his bad boy vibe, that a fedora would look off on him – not the case. He pairs his Peacemaker swim brief with the trendy hat style, and it works surprisingly well. Even with the gun print, it’s the Radical Element Editorial’s softer side – still striking yet willing to soften the blow. The print is pistol, but it hits like a stun gun. It also helps that this is the pair Frank wears while enjoying his ice cream. What could be more disarming than that?
And while The Underwear Expert dies for the gun and ammo designs, there’s no missing the Urban Camo swim brief. Maybe the high caliber bullets and pistols are more unique, but it takes a sharp sense of style to bring camo back from the dead. Radical Element’s attitude chain reacts with the print and leaves it pink and orange with touches of black and yellow. Frank happens to bring a leopard print towel along for this part of the Radical Element Editorial. It may not be much of an accessory, but it makes the camo colors pop. It’s like the design refuses to blend into anything other than a sunset.
