Malebasics Camo: Performance Fabric Meets Military Style

ken wroy skylines collection

The Malebasics Camo Collection looses the original camo print’s muddy-leaves-from-backwoods-nowhere look for a design that’s more fashion-meets-military and capable of withstanding “extreme conditions.” The Camo Collection includes a hip brief, trunk, boxer brief – and something more unique to Malebasics – a 9-inch boxer. Made from a moisture wicking performance fabric (78% Nylon, 22% Lycra Spandex), each style provides a form-fitted look made to move with your body.

Malebasics’ current take on the camo print is made from three shades of grey. The digital print has the masculinity that camo lives and breathes, but the colors make all the difference. Grey is one of the best alternative neutrals when it comes to men’s fashion, other than navy. The Malebasics Camo Collection applies grey to make this casual style more up-to-date.

The Malebasics Camo Hip Brief ($28) and Trunk ($32) have modern cuts that combine with the trendy print to make two surprisingly fashionable pairs of performance underwear. It’s military masculinity on the more fashion-forward of underwear styles. The Camo Trunk is longer than a typical square cut, but shorter than the Camo Boxer Brief. The Camo Hip Brief has a classic hip brief cut with high-cut sides that show plenty of hip.

The Malebasics Boxer Brief ($36) and 9-Inch Boxer ($44) have less contemporary silhouettes, but benefit from using more of the functional fabric. All four underwear styles in the Malebasics Camo Collection are designed with flat seams that prevent chafing. Each is also accented with a thick white waistband with the brand name printed in bold black lettering. It keeps the body-hugging, moisture wicking material comfortably snug, and finishes the look on a note that’s as masculine as it is stylish.

The Malebasics Camo Collection is available in sizes S – XL.
