Claesen’s existed primarily as a children’s basic line for more than 20 years. The line catered to babies and teenagers before expanding into apparel for seniors. It was only recently that the Claesen’s No.1 line launched for the most sophisticated of men. Inspired by 50’s dandy style prints, Claesen’s No.1 underwear is a mature and contemporary take on “old-fashioned” style.
The 50’s prints are applied to five underwear styles – brief, short, medium, long, and loose. Also available in black and white are a singlet, V-neck, and crew neck tee. Each underwear style has two prints specially designed for the style. In addition to the two exclusive prints, each look from the Claesen’s No.1 is available in white, navy, and black.
This photo shoot by photographer Tony Tranquilo captures the essence of the Claesen’s No.1 man. As it turns out, that man is best embodied by model Jamie Stedman. With his necktie undone and pants nowhere to be found, he is the epitome of a dapper man off-duty.
