The impossibly handsome Willie Gomez was interviewed by DNA Magazine, and photographed wearing some of teamm8’s hottest, most classic styles. No surprise there. But what did surprise us is Willie’s story. We knew he was a dancer, but had no idea his passion for it could be traced back to when he was just 15-years-old, watching Britney Spears’ “Slave” video. We also didn’t know that Willie sees himself as a “pretty normal looking guy.” Now that is what we call shocking.
In his interview with DNA, Willie discusses his active lifestyle more than anything. “When I’m not dancing, I’m always lifting at the gym, hiking or taking a yoga class,” he says. “It makes me feel good.”
It makes the rest of us feel good too. A little later in the interview, Willie lets DNA and their readers in on more little known facts. In a surprising moment of vulnerability, Willie claims that his dancing and his career have changed him for the better. Growing up as an unpopular kid, Willie is flattered by the positive attention he receives. This was also a nice thing to hear, given that Willie was referring to his following in the gay world.
