Go Green demonstrates toes-to-bars in this Instagram video, but this time with a twist. To add resistance, Go Green straps on a 20 lb. weight vest and puts in a max amount of effort. Because the weight is added to his upper body, the added resistance is really felt in his arms and chest.
Weight vests are great for crossfit training, running, and even intense practice for sports such as soccer and basketball. And while the resistance is physically strapped to your chest, it still makes the entire motion more difficult. Even with the weight vest, the main muscles work will be your abs. Watch how close Go Green’s knees come to his chest. This is a good indicator that his abs are being used to their fullest extent.
