The Freedom Reigns Fusion XL Collection integrates comfortable fabrics with small yet spirited athletic touches. Freedom Reigns has an affinity for those sharp, vital designs reminiscent of any given locker room — their color placement reminds us of team jerseys. And while the Fusion XL Collection is masculine, the neon accents take it further from brawn and closer to cute. Think cross country runner, not football player.
The Freedom Reigns Fusion XL FXB-17-13 Military-Citron and FXB-17-16 Military-Orange briefs ($31.50) are made from 85% polyester, 15% spandex material. The blend is a match made in heaven, and brings an especially flattering fit around the back. Standing back to admire them, the neon seams around the pouch shine enough to bring the eye in. Still, the neon block stripe on the right hip is bolder, and therefore brighter. The same goes for the brand name, nicely placed off-center to compliment the stripe.
The FXS-3-14 Charcoal-Fuschia, FXS-3-16 Charcoal-Orange, and FXS-3-13 Charcoal-Citron shorts ($65) trade the polyester for cotton, keeping the 15% spandex for stretch and flexibility. The charcoal is a great color, one that always looks best in the fall and winter. It’s a masculine, neutral base. On the shorts, the neon splashes are reserved to the Freedom Reigns logo on the left leg, placed at the bottom of a black stripe.
The Freedom Reigns Fusion XL shorts come in charcoal/fuchsia, charcoal/orange, and charcoal/citron. The Fusion XL briefs come in military/orange and military/citron. The entire collection is available in sizes S-XL.
