Go Green demonstrates sideways walking in this Instagram video. It may look a little silly, but sideways walking is an intense strength building exercise. Watching the video, you can see that Go Green takes his time moving down the wall. He doesn’t have a choice necessarily, and the more focused he is on his movement, the more difficult and beneficial the exercise is.
In the routine, Go Green goes for five sets with two minutes of rest between. He claims that each consecutive set was easier than the last. But if you aren’t used to sideways walking, each set with likely be more difficult. When beginning a set of sideways walking, start like you are about to do a push-up and walking backward up the wall until your chest is facing it.
