Go Green demonstrates a complex version of a power clean in this Instagram video. A 3 position power clean is basically a chain where you perform a power clean from three different positions. This is definitely one of the more ‘crossfit’ exercises that Go Green does. And while it is difficult to do, it is a great way to build on muscle and maximize the benefits of your power cleans.
To set up for the 3 position power clean, have your feet placed between your hips and shoulders. You back should be arched in a way that lets you use your hip flexors. This is what makes the power clean a good tool for toning your body. Also, your hips should be above your knees. After that, the most common progression is hang cleans done from the floor, a hang, and a mid-hang.
