This Instagram video by Go Green shows us a demonstration of a 3 stop snatch pull. Essentially, this is a snatch pull with a 3-second pause period where you stop at the mid-shin, go above the knee, get into the power position, and then pull. This is just another variation of a power lift that is ideal for conditioning your entire body, but the built-in pause adds resistance and builds strength.
If the 3 stop snatch pull is something you want to implement into your exercise routine, try and master your average snatch pull first. As always, form is incredibly important. Once you have the form for a snatch pull down, you’ll be ready for the 3 stop snatch pull.
