This workout video shows us demonstrations of deadlifts and toes-to-bars. We have seen this trainer do both before on multiple occasions, but combining the two is like the power couple of fitness exercises. Deadlifts, as you may already know, target a lot of different areas. Predominantly it is your lower back, but it also hits your mid back, glutes, lats, quads, and more. But one thing it doesn’t necessarily target is your core. And while deadlifts are great at toning your entire body, toes-to-bars are really what hits your torso in this routine.
This is a smart combination, also, because both exercises make the person doing them focus on how they move their hips. Form is always of the utmost importance when exercising, otherwise your body isn’t getting the workout it needs. Doing these two back-to-back will really help you get a handle on your hips. It is also a great idea to preceed toes-to-bars with deadlifts, because you’ll already be used to dipping into your strength to lift the barbell.
