GO Green Fit: Back Squats

This time around, gogreen2nd demonstrates back squats and a banded sprint. Overall he was working on speed and agility by combining these two exercises. In the routine he does 5 sets, each consisting of 3 reps of back squats at 135 lbs. After that, he follows up the back squats with 10 banded sprints. Together, these two are will really hit your thighs.

Back squats are one of the most demanding exercises out there. It is very effective at working nearly all of your body’s muscles, making it highly efficient. But of course, the more efficient the exercise, the more difficult it is to execute properly. Back squats are one of several different squat variations you should try. And keep in mind that squats are more of a full body exercise than a leg exercise, so everyone should try and fit them in to their gym routine.
