Exclusive Sneak Peek Into Nasty Pig Fall 2014

Frank Dandy 1

We don’t want to be biased and say that the best things in life happen in New York City just because TUX headquarters are located here, so instead we’ll say they happen because New York is also home to gritty and fun lifestyle brand Nasty Pig. And when you get us two together, pigs are bound to fly.

The Underwear Expert was recently invited for an exclusive look at Nasty Pig’s Fall 2014 Collection, and we’re bringing you along for the ride with this all-access Behind The Scenes video. Greeted by CEO David Lauterstein, the NP crew was busy shooting looks for their new range when we arrived. We got to check out styles including the Pentagram Shredder, sexy Venom Brief (yes, Venom) and sleek Champ Long Johns — just to name a few.

“We’re most excited about the fact that our fall line truly defines the Nasty Pig customer… ambitious, ballsy and fully unashamed. But it’s still very fashion forward and directional. It feels so right.” says Lauterstein. And that’s the thing you’ve got to understand about the Nasty Pig brand. With their dedication to creating raw, energetic looks, like this season’s Drop Out Jacket and Jet Black NP Jeans, they’ve made it clear that they’re a true lifestyle label.

David’s partner in life and in business, Creative Director Frederick Kearney, shares what has made them successful as they enter their 20th anniversary this year. To hear his secrets and see more BTS footage, watch the video below. And don’t forget to drop by the Nasty Pig flagship store, located at 258 West 19th Street. Most of the new collection will be available starting August 28th, 2014, with some items following later in the fall.

What new items are you most ready for? The Champ Collection? The Drop Out Jacket? Watch the video and then let us know by commenting below or tweeting @underwearexpert!
