Item Reviewed: Sly Collective Cop Issue Red
About The Product: Sly Collective has only been around for two years, but they quickly mastered the formula for creating a fantastic pair of underwear. The Sly Cop Issue Red is bright and playful with two pistols printed as if holstered in the working miniature pockets at the bottom of the left and right leg openings — featured in much of their men’s underwear line. Sly is written in large white letters on the wide (1 ¾ in) black waistband with “underwear” written in a different texture on the black. The underwear features a fitted open pouch.
What We Like: The underwear keeps everything in place without cramping. The fabric is soft and comfortable, with the right amount of elastic. The waistband is wide giving good security to the fit, but also ample space for the company’s branding to be pronounced.
What We Didn’t Like: The red with printed guns gives the underwear a very pre-adolescent look and the pockets on the sides don’t help. They suggest the wearer needs a place to covertly carry his two favorite matchbox cars.
Who We’d Recommend Them To: Guys who don’t take themselves too seriously. Guys who are nostalgic about their childhood playrooms.
When We’d Wear Them: Pretty much anytime because they’re so comfortable.
