On Tuesday, February 19th, The Underwear Expert left the comfort of one of the comfiest beds ever to head to the Mandalay Bay Convention Center for day two of the Magic Market Week.
While we bypassed the many of the seven deadly sins often experienced in Vegas to focus on underwear all day long, there was one vice we allowed ourselves to indulge in, and that was the appreciation of very fit male models in underwear. For the trade show, the New York City based brand, Ken Wroy, brought in a French model. After appreciating their choice of model, we were able to look over and admire their new line named Brazil Fever. Right before seeing Ken Wroy, we stopped by a fairly new brand name, Steele, which specializes in men’s swimwear and tank tops to keep all the boys of Provincetown, Massachusetts happy. Our third meeting of the day was with the ever friendly crew representing Happy Socks, Bread & Boxers and Puma. We heard about great projects in the works for all three brands.
We stopped by Buffalo David Bitton’s enormous booth to check out what was going on with their refocused men’s underwear line, which they have revitalized with a brand new collection. The man behind the brand Naked chatted with us about some upcoming ideas, while Baskit filled us in on their exciting new collections and collaborations with Colorado based charities.
We winded day two down by meeting with another underwear enthusiast blog, Underwear Nation, where we finally took some time to indulge in Vegas nightlife with drinks and dancing. Make sure you check out how we ended our Magic Market Week trip with day three’s recap.
