On Feb. 15th many people, dressed in only their undies, took part in Cupid’s Undie Run and took to Instagram using #ImWithCupid to show off their running best…or lack there of.
Cupid’s Undie Run is a mile run, usually taking place on Valentine’s weekend, taking place in more than 20 cities in the U.S. and Australia. The run raises money for the Children’s Tumor Foundation. The foundation is the world’s largest non-goverment organization dedicated to ending Neurofibromatosis (NF) which is a genetic disorder causing tumors to grow on nerves in the body. Last year, Cupid’s Undie Run raised over $1.3 million in donations for the cause.
For its fifth year, the run added 11 new cities, revamped its website, and added some new prizes, including a Cupid’s customized Timbuk2 Backpack and an awesome robe. They are also using social media to get their message across since it is more prevalent than ever before.
