Item Reviewed: Malebasics Hound Brief
About the Product: The Geometric collection stays true to the colors that have defined Malebasics for over twelve years, offering all three prints in a combination of black, white and red. The underwear has a fabric breakdown that is 93% cotton and 7% lycra, making it both light weight and soft-to-touch. The Hound print, also known as “the Prince of Wales”, replicates a masculine pattern popularized by Edward VIII, as well as Scottish shepherds.
What We Like: We loved the houndstooth print a lot. It’s sophisticated, chic, and royal. It’s also a lot of fun to be seen in. The contrasting red piping and waistband pops. We also appreciate the modern look of the Malebasics logo.
What We Didn’t Like: We thought the underwear could have a used a little more lycra in the fabric composition. They fit well for the first few hours having them on, then they stretched out a bit and didn’t feel the same.
