MTV and Swedish underwear company Bjorn Borg urge you to get it on! These two brands have teamed up together to raise awareness for HIV/AIDS.

HIV/AIDS is the number one leading cause of death in women and the second in men. Lat year, 2.5 million new people were affected with the disease and 45% of those infections fell in between the age range of 16 to 24. ”HIV is something that affects young people of today and it deserves all the attention it can get. By supporting the MTV Staying Alive Foundation we want to raise awareness and help to get the message across to the young crowd”, says Arthur Engel, CEO Björn Borg.

To help fight this battle, Bjorn Borg created a limited range of underwear, the Bjorn Borg Get It On collection. This special line has a brand new design, which Bjorn Borg has named, ‘camo sutra,’ for its inspiration taken from Japanese erotic art called Shunga, and has blended the colorful graphics into a camo like print. The Bjorn Borg waistband is one of the most iconic and in between the brand’s name, “Get It On” is printed to promote playing it safe, while having fun.

The collection is made up of four pieces all made from a 95% cotton and 5% elastane fabric blend, with two Shunga inspired designs. One color is a muted black and white ‘camo sutra’ print, and the other is a bold and colorful ‘camo sutra’ print. There is a pink waistband for girls, and a green one for guys. The collections consists of a brief (€21.95), trunk (€24. 95), and a boxer brief (€26.95), as well as a very special tandem brief (€49.95) which can fit two people comfortably. “I think it’s really important to remember that sex is part of human nature and that young people, in particular, are always going to be ‘getting it on'” says Georgia Arnold, Executive Director, MTV Staying Alive Foundation.

For every Get It On piece that is sold, Bjorn Borg will donate one euro to the MTV Staying Alive Foundation which promotes extending HIV education, and young leaders dedicate their time to prevention work in various communities. All profits made from the Tandem pair of underwear will go directly toward the fight against HIV.
