Starting college can be rough. For a lot of people, it’s the first time they are buying, washing, and not washing their own underwear. Unfortunately, for a lot of college Freshman, it is also the time they are growing out of their underwear. According to TheBestColleges.org, 70% of college students gain between 15 to 25 lbs by the end of Sophomore year. In terms of your underwear, that’s the difference between feeling comfortable in your new low rise briefs and feeling like your muffin top.
Don’t worry. Not everyone goes through gaining the Freshman 15. The secret lies in exercise. One in 3 college freshman don’t exercise at all, according to TheBestColleges.org. We have a hankering that this is due to the fact that a lot of these Freshman don’t know where to start.
There are three key areas to focus on if you want to look your underwear best Freshman year: Cardio, Weight Training, and Flexibility. If you are allergic to the gym or just a bit self conscience, a lot of these tasks can be taken care of in your dorm room. For instance, you can job in place, do push ups, and stretch across sturdy furniture.
