London Fashion week was weeks ago, but that doesn’t mean we’re over the looks yet. We do have an entire year to wait for the ranges shown to hit shelves anyways so you can consider this just.. anticipation. Perhaps more exciting than the looks, London Fashion Week saw its first ever underwear fashion show, a reason for any underwear aficionado to celebrate.
This June, international apparel brand HOM announced a collaboration with Jonathan Saunders for Spring/Summer 2014. Of the collaboration shown during London Fashion Week, Jonathan says, “I am excited to be expanding my menswear label to now create underwear which is an essential part of every man’s wardrobe, and equally excited to be launching it with HOM who are an established leader in the world market.”
Focusing on both function and design, Jonathan Saunders, one of Europe’s most iconic and influential designers, has created an exclusive collection in keeping with HOM’s 45-year heritage using the strong experience and expertise of HOM alongside his own unique aesthetic.
The 27-piece collection includes high quality swim and underwear styles that showcase superior quality and fit along with heightened trend awareness. Featuring bold shades, classic color blocks alongside deeper hues of navy and black, and specially created textile prints–an edit of those taken from Jonathan’s SS14 mainline menswear collection.
The collection made its debut during London Fashion Week as part as an exclusive runway show and will be available in select retail stores starting in January 2014. Check out a video of the HOM by Jonathan Saunders S/S14 catwalk and a gallery of the looks below.
