Papi showcased its sexiest new cotton collections for the spring season at Cotton’s 24 Hour Runway Show last month in Miami. This fashion event, organized by Cotton Incorporated, featured 1,440 cotton looks from a wide variety of international designers and brands. Among the featured brands, Papi demonstrated why cotton still remains a popular choice for underwear.
The Papi fashion show highlighted the brand’s flair for color and style but most of all comfort. The Miami-based brand offers underwear made from 100% cotton or a cotton stretch fabric, which offers consumers a classic and super comfortable feel. The brand showcased three of its most recent collections, which were also inspired by the colorful sights of Miami’s South Beach.
Celebrating the classic, soft feeling of cotton, Papi presented its Essentials Cotton collection on the runway. This collection, which includes briefs, trunks, jockstraps and T-shirts, is made from 100% cotton and offers a natural absorbent choice. The brand recently introduced exotic shades such as intensity red, mare blue, coastal blue and Caribe turqoiuse to this classic collection.
Models strutted on the catwalk wearing the Papi Space Dye Hanging Brazilian trunk and tank top. This collection features an interwoven yarn of mixed colors and is made from a fabric blend of 95% cotton and 5% spandex. This cotton fabric underwent a unique space dying technique to produce these muted shades with flecks of color.
Also turning heads at the show was the Papi Eye Candy Striped Brazilian Trunk. This collection is produced from a mix of 95% cotton and 5% spandex and showcases a fashionable mix of horizontal stripes. This range comes in tropical colors such as lemon light, intensity red, blue swept and parrot green.
