Jockey recently presented a sneak peak of its upcoming fall 2013 collection at the Museum of Arts & Design in New York City. For the upcoming autumn season, the Jockey fall collection offers a splash of warm colors and innovative fabric combinations.
The highlight of the upcoming Modern collection of briefs, trunks and boxer briefs is the bold use of colors. Most notably, the woven, slim-fit boxer shorts, made from 100% cotton yard dye, feature an alluring array of stripes and prints with bright shades of blue, yellow and red and contrasting waistbands. Similar to Jockey’s women’s underwear line, the Modern collection will also have an array of jewel tones for the fall season.
“Jewel tones are a major color trend for the fall season,” Laetitia Lecigne, creative director of Jockey, told The Underwear Expert. “We collaborated with a group of artists to create a rich, inviting color palette.”
Jockey also showcased its high-tech sports performance underwear line, which offers innovative fabric construction and comfort finishes. The brand presents a double-face fabric of cotton and ergonomically placed mesh panels made from micro polyester to the Sport collection for increased comfort and breathability. “Male consumers are becoming more knowledgeable about fabrics,” said Lecigne.
The Sport collection also reintroduces a range of seamless designs that are made from nylon and spandex combination. This collection includes a flat waistband designed to stretch to any direction. The range also offers refined trims, low-rise fits and sculpted, H-Fly contour pouches for maximum support.
