Of course, fans of the modeling and underwear industries were likely already aware of Matthew Terry’s work. Besides having been the face of Calvin Klein Underwear since the spring/summer campaign of 2012, Terry had established himself with work modeling in the Versace spring/summer 2012 runway show. He had also appeared in a number of editorials, reaching the covers of magazines including V Man and Vogue Hommes Japan.

Last year, Terry chatted with The Underwear Expert about joining the Calvin Klein team. The interview betrays just how fresh he was on the scene, and demonstrates how far he’s come.

“It feels unreal,” Terry said when we asked about being the new face of Calvin Klein Underwear. “I can’t believe that I’m among such an extremely prestigious group of men that have done this campaign before! Mark Wahlberg and Kellan Lutz to name a few.”

Not even Mark Wahlberg was in a Calvin Klein Super Bowl ad. Matthew Terry has definitely made it, and we couldn’t be happier for him.
