Baskit underwear releases its latest collection, America, made in the brand’s home state of Colorado. Available mid September, the collection consists of a low-rise trunk ($25), sport brief ($24) and jock brief ($23).
The Baskit underwear America collection celebrates the bold styling of classic U.S. sports uniforms with unique color blocking, triple stitching and saffron yellow trim. Made from 95% cotton and 5% elastane, the trunk, sport brief and jock brief are offered in white, navy blue and grey. Additionally, the brand’s signature logo is featured on the front center of the waistband.
“The design not only addresses color blocking but also includes an overlay of taping that runs across the product,” Ken Loo, a representative for Baskit underwear, told The Underwear Expert. “It gives it a Superman-like quality.”
To support expected demand, Baskit underwear teamed up with a small, independently owned factory in Denver to manufacture the brand’s first new release for the fall. Baskit underwear even invested in additional machinery to improve production—living up to the slogan, Made in America.
“Making America required us to find a factory in the U.S.A and upgrade the machinery in order to meet the quality standard of what we need for the product,” said Loo. “We definitely wanted to make sure everything was on the up and up.”
The range is available in S-XL.
