CURVExpo, a trade show representing designer lingerie, men’s underwear and swimwear in North America has just been bought by Eurovet, a leading global lingerie and swimwear tradeshow organizer, which increased its stake to 100% from the 30% it had held since 2008.
CURVExpo has grown over 20% yearly to four annual events, holding two in New York and two in Las Vegas each year in the five years since its founding in Las Vegas, according to a press release circulated this morning. EUROVET is a leading worldwide lingerie and swimwear trade show organizer, running sixteen textile and fashion-related fairs throughout the world, with shareholders such as the French Knitting and Lingerie Federation and the major trade show organizer Comexposium.
“Being part of EUROVET will enable CURVExpo to tap into new resources and capabilities, allowing us to better serve our customers,” Jean-Luc Teinturier, Founder and CEO of CURVExpo, said. “This is a great opportunity for the CURVExpo shows and for the industry as a whole. I am very happy with this strategic acquisition. It will benefit all exhibitors attracting retailers, importers and distributors from overseas, allowing them to maximize their international exposure”.
Jean-Luc Teinturier and Laurence Teinturier will continue managing CURVExpo as co-Presidents. They will be joined by a Vice President appointed by EUROVET.
