Appal-lin. Some eBay user listed Jeremy Lin’s used underwear for a starting bid of $1,000, claiming to have picked them up in a Harvard dorm.
Luckily, eBay stepped in to cancel the auction within hours of its posting but not before news outlets like the Huffington Post and the New York Metro caught wind of the used trunks. The Lin-ning bidder would have won a pair of grey Fruit of the Loom boxer briefs in “acceptable” condition.
In the lightning-quick rise of this basketball phenom, people have already tried to cash in on Jeremy Lin paraphernalia, but this is quite a stretch. The eBay user who attempted to sell the boxer briefs wrote: “My brothers friend went to Harvard and was in the same dorm, got his boxers from the dryer on accident. Got them from him for $100 because he’s [sic] stupid. Buy now and these could be worth alot [sic] in the future”
