Miami based underwear brand Papi is gearing up for a busy February with the release of two new collections, Colores and Rugby Mesh. Both lines will be infused with Papi’s signature bright, bold colors and “offer men properties and characteristics to make them more comfortable and feel fresh all day,” a representative from the company told The Underwear Expert.
Colores, which will be available sometime in February, is made with a polyester / spandex blend fabric that has moisture wicking and quick dry properties, and is breathable enough “to keep men dry and fresh throughout the day.” Influenced by Hispanic cultures, the line will be available in 6 colors, each of which represent a different fortune for the new year: Green, a year of better luck; Yellow, a year of prosperity; Blue; a year of good health; Red, a year of passion; Orange, a year of courage; and, Black, a year of power. The collection will retail for $24.
The Rugby Mesh athletic collection “was our approach to offering men an athletic style underwear with an airy, supportive mesh that is both functional and fashionable,” the rep. told The Underwear Expert. It will feature Brazilian trunks and tanks. The Papi Rugby Mesh collection will be made with “a nylon / spandex blend with color brilliance, soft touch for a luxe feeling and micro fiber which wicks moisture away from the body.” Rugby Mesh will also offer Brazilian trunks made with a Cool Dry fabric (88% polyester, 12% spandex).
Rugby Mesh and Cool Dry trunks will retail for $24; Rugby Mesh tanks will retail for $30. The athletic line will be available starting February 1st. Both lines will be available in S-XL.
