Everyone knows that jockstraps aren’t just for sports anymore. Underwear brands have made jockstraps their own with stylish designs more about fashion than athletic function. They take the sex appeal of a jockstrap and turn it into something revealing and bold to wear. What’s even better, the jockstrap’s design enhances your front and your back.
Jocks are one of the skimpiest underwear styles around. This leaves underwear brands with little room to incorporate their style. That’s why most brands do it big when doing jocks. Even simple jock designs manage to do it big, making the most of the underwear’s sexy silhouette. You get a pouch and some straps to leave an impression. And believe us, it’s plenty.
Some underwear brands keep things simple with a contoured pouch and a contrasting waistband. Kiniki does this to design a jockstrap that’s almost elegant – if it weren’t so erotic. Clever uses a similar design, but with different colors closer to the jockstrap’s roots.
In terms of athletic appeal, Nasty Pig’s jock is hard to beat. Theirs is made with a wide waistband and detailing that gives it a retro wrestler aesthetic. The colors help, but it’s all about the sporty striped design on the pouch. We could say something similar for the N2N California Dreamin’ Jock. It’s all about the pouch stripes, but these rock a hipster’s fashion sense.
You can also find jockstraps that dress down the classic style. Brands such as Aware Soho and Baskit design jockbrief hybrids that are more discrete but keep the revealing peek in the back. They’re less erotic for covering more skin, but guys who wear them still show something off.
Richard Hunter leaves the classic jock behind, but does it in a different way. They bring in a second jockstrap that brings even more sex appeal to the design. The added strap covers more skin, technically, but pushes the jock into kinky territory.
