Review: Supawear SUPA-FLY Brief in black

Item Reviewed: Supawear SUPA-FLY Brief in black

About the product: The SUPA-FLY Brief in black by Supawear is made of 93% cotton and 7% elastane. The pouch is shaped and has a contouring center seam. The sides of the pouch features contrasting white ribbing. The waistband is 1¾ inches wide, and has a winged emblem on the front. The emblem emulates the Superman logo, and features Supawear’s SW initials. The wings of the emblem extend to the sides of the waist. The rear side of the waistband has the brand’s “not for the ordinary” slogan repeated, and in the center is a woven patch with the SW initials and the slogan. The brief has a very low rise, but provides the usual coverage.

What we like: The Supawear waistband is extra wide, which is great. Plus, it’s sturdy and comfortable. The unique design on the waistband makes the brief visually stand out, and the ribbing contrast lets the pouch pop. The pouch provides great support.

What we don’t like: The brief is very form fitting, and may run too tight for some. Consider sizing up if you’re usually between sizes.

When we’d wear them: Spending a fun day in underwear.

Who we’d recommend them to: Guys who want a form fitting brief with a wide, detailed waistband.

In three words: Winged. Supportive. Fitted.
