To make their Fall 2014 New York City flagship store windows on Madison Avenue stand out amongst the rest, leading underwear and lifestyle brand Calvin Klein has partnered with artist Jeremy Kost.
Selected prints from Kost’s latest project, FRACTURED, is on display as an art installment in the retailer’s windows on 60th street and will continue to flow into the men’s apparel floor. FRACTURED is a collection of beautiful and dreamy prints that were created from multiple-exposure, layered Polaroid photographs of young men’s fit silhouettes, and combined with text from Franklin Sirmans.
“After two-and-half years of making this body of work, I couldn’t be more honored to celebrate FRACTURED’s release with an exclusive edition and presentation of artwork at Calvin Klein Collection’s Madison Avenue store,” said Mr. Kost. “The brand has such a rich history of beauty, elegance, sophistication, and unabashed sensuality, which embodies everything I hope people perceive in the new book.”
You can catch the art installment at 654 Madison Avenue in New York City until October 31st. If you like what you see, starting October 13th, all of the artwork will be available through Paddle8’s website and a portion of the proceeds will be donated to the HIV and AIDS research and education organization, ACRIA. You can also pick up an limited edition book, “FRACTURED: Jeremy Kost for Calvin Klein Collection,” for $200.
